Frederick Schouviller

Frederick is an immigration attorney who brings a background in both social work and legal advocacy to Colectiva. He earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2017, where he participated in the International Human Rights Clinic and multiple immigration-focused projects. His clinic work included drafting a brief to the UN on Indigenous rights violations in Nicaragua.

Before joining Colectiva, Frederick practiced at a private immigration law firm, handling cases involving asylum, removal defense, VAWA, U-Visas, DACA, and family petitions. He also supported unaccompanied youth as a bilingual counselor and worked in social services connecting clients with essential community resources.

A first-generation college graduate, Frederick studied criminal justice and legal studies in undergrad and spent a semester in Argentina, which deepened his commitment to immigrant rights. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, concerts, and spending time with his partner and their dog.
