Judith Ortiz
Judith assumed the role of treasurer and joined the board in the summer of 2023. Judith graduated from Trinity Lutheran College in 2016 with a double major in Psychology and Business. After graduating she moved to Miami, Florida, where she worked in the finance sector as a Financial and IT Risk Management consultant. Since then, she has transitioned to Fintech and now works as an Instructional Designer. Judith grew up in the Puget Sound area but proudly hails from Chihuahua, Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Seattle food scene, spending too much time at museums and bookstores, listening to podcasts, learning new skills (skiing this winter), and spending time with friends and family.
An immigrant herself, Judith is deeply passionate about the intersection of law and social justice. She aligns with La Colectiva’s commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic background, has access to quality legal representation. She believes that access to justice is a fundamental right and hopes to assist La Colectiva Legal Del Pueblo in fulfilling its mission of equalizing access to justice.
